NFL Scouting Combine History

The NFL Scouting Combine history is not that long in the tooth.  It was only in it’s current form since 1985, but back then we wouldn’t exactly consider it anywhere near what it is today.  Let’s just say the combine has come along ways since the beginning.  This episode covers a brief overview of how the NFL Scouting Combine transformed from a modge podge of an idea into what it is today – a scheduling masterpiece.  The episode covers a little about the evolution of the NFL combine 40-yard dash, the combine schedule, and even dives into the career of the man referred to as “The Father of Modern Scouting” – Eddie Kotal.  So strap on your seatbelt, because we’re about to get this thing up to 88 MPH.
