On February 4, 1986, Larry Bird decided to play a game with his left hand out of sheer boredom. He often felt the need to give himself ridiculous challenges within the game in order to stay motivated. Despite this handicap, Bird still managed to score 47 points against the Portland Trailblazers and take home the victory that night.
