Top 5 NFL Teams of the 2010s

We hope this doesn’t spoil any surprises, but the 2017 Cleveland Browns will not be featured on this list of the best NFL teams of the 2010s. That was, of course, the Browns team that drafted DeShone Kizer with the 52nd overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, started him in 15 games during his rookie season, and then promptly traded him to the Green Bay Packers as soon as the 2017 NFL season was over after Cleveland finished — welp — 0-16.

If you think what the 2017 Browns did was incredible, just wait until you see what made these five NFL teams so special.

Not only did they attract the attention of NFL fans, but they are also always featured in the best sportsbooks like BetRivers. Furthermore, there is a BetRivers Sportsbook review at Overtime Heroics for insights on bonuses and other different promotions.

Which one do you consider the best NFL team in 2010-19?

5 - 2011 New York Giants

It’s tough to make the case for a team that finished 9-7 in the regular season to deserve a spot on a list of the five best NFL teams of the 2010s, but let’s try anyway! The 2011 New York Giants squeaked into the NFL Playoffs as a wild card without any amazing NFL 2010 team stats. But once they were in?

They beat a 15-1 Green Bay Packers team coming off a Super Bowl run, a 13-3 San Francisco 49ers team with a league-leading defense, and a 13-3 New England Patriots team looking to get revenge on the G-Men for beating them in Super Bowl XLII in 2008We’d say the 2011 Giants weren’t your average 9-7 team.

4 - 2013 Denver Broncos

The 2013 Denver Broncos are the only team on this list of the best NFL teams of the 2010s that didn’t win a Super Bowl. But it feels wrong not to include the highest-scoring team in the history of the NFL. Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense put up 606 points in 2013 and lost just two games by one score each.

If not for another team on our list, the 2013 Broncos might have landed at No. 1 on our NFL team rankings in 2010 through 2019.

3 - 2017 Philadelphia Eagles

After Carson Wentz tore his ACL toward the end of the regular season, no one could have predicted what would happen to the 2013 Philadelphia Eagles next. With backup quarterback Nick Foles under center, the Eagles worked their way to Super Bowl LII, where they knocked off the New England Patriots to win the team’s first Super Bowl in franchise history in shocking fashion.

2 - 2013 Seattle Seahawks

Remember that legendarily great 2013 Denver Broncos offense we referenced a few moments ago? Well, that offense, which averaged over 37 points per game in 2013, only managed to score 8 points in a 43-8 loss in Super Bowl XLVIII against the 2013 Seattle Seahawks and their just-as-legendarily great defense.

1 - 2016 New England Patriots

When Tom Brady was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season for his role in the Deflategate scandal, it didn’t seem like it’d be a recipe for success. But just about everything except Brady getting suspended went right for the 2016 New England Patriots

Their offense and defense both finished ranked in the top three, they outscored teams by the fifth-largest margin in the 2010s, and they topped it all off by pulling off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history. All 2010 NFL teams stats aside, this team was just different.
