Sports History On This Day: April 25

April 25, 1901 – In what has gone down in history as one of the greatest comebacks in baseball, The Detroit Tigers, in the very first game played in the Motor City, did what most thought impossible. Trailing by 13-4, the new Tigers team scored 10 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning, to win one of greatest victory rallies in baseball history!
