March 30, 1947 – Babe Didrikson Zaharias wins her first of three Titleholders titles as she finished 5 strokes ahead of Dorothy Kirby at the LPGA Titleholders Women’s Golf Championships at the Augusta Country Club. Over the course of her illustrious golfing career, Babe won 82 tournaments including 10 that were Majors!

This young lady was so dedicated and focused that she won her last major title just after she was diagnosed with cancer. 12 strokes was her margin of victory and she did ill and while outfitted with a colostomy bag! That is truly amazing!
