This three-year-old steed of well renowned won the 1 5/8-mile Lawrence Realization Stakes at Belmont Park by 100 lengths, which is still the largest winning margin in modern thoroughbred racing history. That is over 1/8 of a mile! The horse and rider, Clarence Kummer set not only the track record but also a world record time at 2.40.8.
