September 25, 1988 – USA, USA, USA those were the chants across the country as the American track and field athletes swept the medals in the long jump at the Seoul Olympics. The spotlight moment was when Carl Lewis won his second gold of the Games with a leap of 8.72m ahead of teammates Mike Powell and Larry Myricks.
